Los Amigos de Guadalupe

Stephanie has been a resident of Guadalupe for over 20 years. A lifelong fitness enthusiast and lover of art and all things Spanish, she can often be seen walking or running around the city. She is passionate about the environment, human health and social justice, and serving her community.

Krouse attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and received a bachelor’s of science degree in ecology & systematic biology, a minor in Spanish, and her bilingual authorization. Recently she obtained her certificate in Food and Sustainability from eCornell.

Stephanie currently teaches part-time as an online multiple subjects, elementary school teacher for students in Guadalupe and the Santa Maria Valley. In the recent past she was a teacher for the Peace Academy of the Sciences and Arts in San Luis Obispo, a youth fitness trainer for the I.M.F.A.S.T. exercise program offered through the Boys and Girls Club, and a dual immersion teacher in Santa Maria and Lompoc.

She loves spending time with her husband, her kids, and her pets; painting murals and doing projects around the neighborhood; and Flamenco dancing.
